Antrim Minor Squad Announcement 2026

Following 3 weeks of trials in which players were assessed across skills, small sided games and full match conditions the squad for the 2026 inter county season has been selected.

It should be noted that all trialists performed well and the depth of playing ability at this age augers well for the future of our county and the levels of development across all teams. Many of these players are already established senior players in their club set ups and hopefully will continue to improve as they mature.

There are two truths that are always mentioned when selecting a panel, firstly that some players will be missed and they should focus on proving the selection panel wrong while secondly those selected should prove the selection panel correct. This cohort of players includes several All-Ireland medalists, and it is undoubtedly a tough squad to break into.

Those players not selected can get some individual feedback from the panel via the county secretary.
