Antrim LGFA 30: Our Game, Our Story

Antrim Ladies Gaelic Football will celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2026. As we move towards integration with the GAA and Camogie Association in 2027, this will be the final opportunity for Antrim LGFA to mark a major milestone as a standalone organisation.

As part of these celebrations, we intend to commission a book on the history of Antrim LGFA covering the period 1996–2026, reflecting both the club and county scenes. We aim to go to print by the end of August 2026.

We are seeking a writer with experience, particularly in sports history, to take on this project. It may be of particular interest to those studying for a PhD, master’s or undergraduate degree who could incorporate the book into their research, as well as to sports journalists or local amateur historians with a passion for Gaelic games.
