Seven Saffs Nominated for Irish News All Stars

Antrim Ladies’ success on the pitch this year, capturing both the Division 4 and Ulster Intermediate titles, has been recognised with the nomination of seven players in the Irish News All Stars awards.
Goalkeeper Anna McCann, full backs Duana Coleman and Orla Corr, Ciara Brown at half back, Anna Mulholland in the middle, Lara Dahunsi at half forward and Orlaith Prenter at full forward have all received the nod for recognition at a prestigious awards ceremony due to be held at the Belfast’s Ulster Hall on Friday 13 October.
The Antrim ladies have been in fine form this year with outstanding performances at both an individual and team level, as Emma Kelly’s team have recorded victories over every opponent they’ve faced, and now find themselves on the precipice of a first All Ireland Intermediate final if they can overcome Clare at Longford on Sunday.
