Antrim will begin their LIDL National League campaign with the visit of Louth to Davitt Park on Sunday 21 January. The Saffron ladies will be playing for the first time ever in Division 3, after winning promotion from Division 4 last term with a comprehensive victory over Leitrim in Parnell Park last April.

2023 also saw Antrim go on to win the Ulster Intermediate title at the first time of asking against Tyrone at Owenbeg in June before falling to Clare in the All Ireland Semi-Final.

Ciara Brown takes the reins as captain, with St Paul’s clubmate Lara Dahunsi and Naomh Bríd defender Emma Ferran stepping up as vice-captains.

The quality of teams in Division 3 will provide a sterner test for Emma Kelly’s side, but Antrim will be unphased given how well the played against Division Two teams like Tyrone, Monaghan and Westmeath in last summer’s championship.

Offaly are the next opponents a week later and another trip to the south-east will see the Saffs face-off against Wexford on 11 February.

An Ulster derby awaits against neighbours Down before Sligo visit Belfast on 3 March. St Patrick’s Day will see Antrim travel to Muster to face last year’s All Ireland Semi-final opponents Clare before the final league game against Roscommon in Belfast on 24 March.
